What is Tranq? Xylazine, commonly known as “tranq,” is a non-opioid sedative analgesic medication that’s largely mixed into (adulterated) and used as an additive with other opioid substances like heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine. The common street names for the drug is, Tranq, Tranq Dope, Zombie Drug, Anestecia De Caballo.



Tranq is turning addicts into "living Zombies"

Addicts are on the verge of loosing their arms and legs because this drug is affecting their bones and rots the skin from the inside. This gives them their nickname "Living Zombies" The rot begins when Raw wounds erupt into a scaly crust of dead tissue called eschar which, if untreated, can lead to amputation.





This drug is running the fatal overdose rates in the United States' this leads to amputations because people can't stop using the drug.

According to The New York Post, Xylazine induces sedative-like symptoms, such as excessive sleepiness and respiratory depression, as well as open sores that, after repeated exposure, can become serious and spread quickly. Hospitals rarely test for it with normal toxicology testing since "tranq" is not classified as a controlled substance for people or animals, placing it in a perplexing and horrifying grey area.
